In 1987 I established Floral Accents. My name is Diana Ryan and I own and operate Floral Accents. Since that time I have done hundreds of weddings and numerous corporate events.  A love of flowers has always been my passion.  Since the first time as a child when I saw a field full of daffodils to the present, I never tire of their beauty. Being born a Taurus, I'm a true lover of nature. I love sharing this passion with my students at JCCC where I teach Floral Design in the Interiors and Horticulture department.

I've had the pleasure of designing with flowers for over 30 years, for small business firms and well as corporations. These designs have been featured at Chef's tables for the Hyatt Regency Crown Center, 1995 Governor's Conference, Missouri Gov. Mel Carnahan's 1997 Inauguration, 2006 Holiday edition of Kansas City Homes and Gardens, Greater KC Chamber of Commerce After Hours, Seniors PGA Golf Tournaments, Fall 2001 & 2002 Kansas City Home Show featured speaker, Greater KC Parade of Homes, and hundreds of weddings and other special events.

My career began as a student at the University of Missouri-Columbia where I completed my Bachelor's degree in Horticulture and Master's degree in Education.
